Few weeks ago, I watched the Oscars 2015. In the show, I saw the movie “The Grand Budapest Hotel” that won several awards. I was pretty surprised to hear that the director was the one who directed “The Fantastic Mr. Fox”, one of my favorite movies.  Therefore, I decided to watch this film. It’s so similar to “Mr. Fox”.

It’s about the life of a lobby boy, Zero and his adventures with his boss, Mr. Gustave. Mr. Gustave was once locked in a prison because he was said stealing a famous painting “The Boy with the Apple”. Mr. Gustave escaped from prison with the help of some few cellmates.

Later, Zero and Mr. Gustave were talking with the guy who knew the truth about the crime behind the murder of the lady who owned “The Boy with the Apple”. Mr. Gustave then suspected that the dead old lady’s son had killed her in order to get her money. Then a killer appeared and choked the man with a chain. Mr. Gustave and Zero saw the whole scene, so they chased the man through the snow. They ran to a cliff, and Mr. Gustave fell. He held on to the edge, but the killer stepped on the snow to kill him. Fortunately, Zero pushed the killer off the cliff at the last second. Both Zero and Mr. Gustave lived happily ever after. After Mr. Gustave was dead, Zero took over The Grand Budapest Hotel and all his money.

Both movies made me laughed all the way, and they are similar not only in the music, but the twist in the story is almost the same.

I like the stunts in the movie, and I prefer “The Grand Budapest Hotel” even more, since it is more realistic, not animated. The part I like the most is when Zero pushes the killer off the cliff and when Mr. Gustave says “holy sh*t”! It is hilarious! The movie is a huge hit, and I recommend everyone to watch it!
